Besides being the second ever Independent Wedding Fair, the November 14 event at the Varsity Theater will showcase the first ever “Not So Real Wedding”. Since it is the first of its kind, we thought we should explain a little further!
What is a “Not So Real Wedding”?
It is a full wedding day condensed into an hour of amusement. We will begin with a cocktail quarter hour, then a ceremony, and end with a reception featuring cake cutting, dance instruction, and more.
Why attend a “Not So Real Wedding”?
Besides being a much more entertaining way to meet many wedding professionals, the “Not So Real Wedding” gives you a unique opportunity to see those vendors in action – from the cake to the styling to the way they have worked together, you can see it all. Plus there will be cake – did we mention the cake?
When is the “Not So Real Wedding”?
On Sunday, November 14 from noon to 1pm. The “Not So Real Wedding” will kick off the second ever Independent Wedding Fair. Tickets to the Not So Real Wedding are $15 and are restricted in number.
Who will be in the “Not So Real Wedding”?
The not so real wedding features the work of the Independent Wedding Association members. All of our members are chosen for their creativity, value, and passion for weddings. The wedding participants (“Not So Real” Bride and Groom) have been chosen for their willingness to be “not so married” in public.
