Why weddings? It’s always inspiring to see people at their best and weddings often showcase people at there best. Also when people want to do non-traditional things at their weddings it often revolves around music, if you walk down the aisle to Canon in D it’s very different than making the same trip to “Bittersweet Symphony” by the Verve. It’s the surprising array of different preferences in music that I enjoy about playing at wedding ceremonies.

What should people know about what you do? We try to make it as easy as possible for you to plan music around your ceremony. a member of the group is always available to meet one on one with you about musical selections (free of charge) for your general piece of mind. We can play a versatile selection of pieces in the jazz, pop and classical genres and for a small extra fee will arrange your favorite songs for your wedding if you’d like. We have a great time playing as an ensemble and are always prompt and professional when playing at your ceremony.

How does your style differentiate you what sets you apart? Our ability to easily switch from standard classical repertoire to popular and jazz genres is definitely what sets us apart. You can hire Urthema to play a classical ceremony and then have us play jazz standards while you mingle with your guests at the reception.
