Minneapolis-based jewelry designer Jennifer Walker Peterson is best known for her flair for fashion, attention to detail, and use of fine materials. She finds great inspiration from the stones she works with and strives to create jewelry as unique as the woman who wears it.

Jen’s passion for designing jewelry began while she was planning her own wedding 6 years ago. Unable to find interesting and high-quality jewelry at a reasonable price, she used her fiance’s old and oversized tools to make her first piece - her wedding bracelet. Since then, she’s upgraded her tools and has been helping brides fulfill their wedding-day vision, exceling in custom design.

Jen and her jewelry were recently featured on Twin Cities Live, and her jewelry is showcased at various boutiques throughout the country.

Besides running a wonderful letterpress and design company, Amy Armato of Armato Design & Press also publishes a wedding and design blog called the Wedding Phile, with tons of cool inspiration pieces from vintage tags and her own designs. Also on her site, you can find a great video that shows the involved process that makes letterpress possible – what a great way to explain such a beautiful and complicated method of printing.

Inspirations are found everywhere for my invitations from my garden at home and a book bought in Paris, to vintage wallpaper patterns and afternoons spent at the museum. I also find my clients inspirational. I believe every special occasion should have a lovely invitation to match. Whether it is a letterpress invitation or a flat-printed invitation, Armato Design & Press makes every occasion unique and welcoming.
