Besides remembering this is the day everyone gets to send you two off into your new life together, one thing can make your day a little less stressful. If there is someone you both trust ( a friend can be amazingly neutral) to be your charge d’affairs – someone who knows your priorities and the schedule for the day. That way you two can enjoy the day and somone else can handle the little decisions and keep everyone else on track and hopefully happy. I tried to do that myself and ended up with way too much stress – so I’ve done that for a few friends and it’s worked well.
